Newcastle United midfielder Jacob Murphy was delighted to help his side to a vital Premier League win.
The Magpies did the double over Aston Villa, beating them 3-1 away from home after a 5-0 win earlier in the season.
Murphy, who played a vital role in the contest, spoke to the media after his side's away success.
He told TNT Sports: "There was big talk in the dressing room beforehand about how much of a fortress [Villa Park] was and we had to imposes ourselves on the game. We did that with with two wonderstrikes from Fab [Schar]."
On not being awarded Newacstle's third goal, he added: "Ouch. 12 weeks out for that! I'm just glad to be in the area and I'm just glad we could get the goal."
On the rest of the season, he finished: "I think we have been a bit too inconsistent. We are now starting to get players back and once we have a full complement back, we can really kick on. This is the first step now to really kick on this season."
