Newcastle midfielder Longstaff: We can play at Burnley with freedom

Ahead of their trip to Burnley, Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff has insisted both he and his team-mates will look to end the season on a high following Monday's home victory over Arsenal.

Longstaff played a crucial part in the Magpies win, as Eddie Howe's side cruised to a comfortable 2-0 home victory.

"It's a massive incentive as we want to try and finish as high as we can," he told NUTV.

"Probably in December time going into the Burnley game you would have thought it was going to be a make or break game but it's a game now where we can go there and look forward to it a little bit with a bit more freedom.

"We obviously know they are fighting for their lives so it's going to be a really tough game but we've got to go and match that. The way we are playing I think we are looking forward to every game and we can't wait for Sunday in what's been a great turnaround and ultimately a really enjoyable season."
