Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff is confident of a big future for the club under their Saudi owners.
Longstaff is adamant the club's rebuild will not happen 'overnight', but is confident the owners' ambitions will see the club return to Europe's elite competition in the coming years.
Longstaff told Sky Sports: "I think with the infrastructure being put in place and the backing the owners are going to give the club, there's no reason why they can't go and challenge at the very top of all of the competitions that they enter. The end goal is they're going to want to get into the Champions League, and play in the big competitions.
"I think that's where the club should be aiming, but for us it's about focusing on the here and now, and making sure the club is building in a sustainable and the right way. It's not just going to happen overnight, everyone knows that. But in five or ten years' time, it's going to be a really special football club to be involved with."
