Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff says they won't be taking FA Cup opponents Rochdale lightly today.

Longstaff has revealed what Bruce is doing to gear them up for today's game.

“The manager has said that the semi-final and final days are the best ones of your life - for someone like him to say it, you obviously listen.

“For him to have experienced that first hand you have to listen to what he says.

“He knows how the big club is and what it deserves - and us, as players, know a club this size should be fighting better than it has done in the cup competitions.

“It gives you some goose bumps and butterflies that maybe, one day, we could get there but it all starts against Rochdale and we know it's going to be a tough game.

“But everyone is looking forward to it, and although we're missing a few bodies, we still feel we've got enough quality in the group to go there and get the game."
