Newcastle United assistant boss Chris Hughton is convinced a calmer atmosphere is washing over the club after managing director Derek Llambias went public with their plans last week.
He said: "I think that moving away from Joe's (Kinnear) situation, what they (the players) do know now is that the window is closed and all the speculation that comes with it is also gone.
"There is no more talk about takeovers either.
"What they know now is that there is not going to be change.
"We have to get on with it, and what you will see is a pulling together of this group of lads.
"You will see more of that in coming weeks too.
"And all we can hope is that will take us into some good results."
