Newcastle United have joined the battle for Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez.

The Sunday Mirror says Rodriguez is at the centre of a bidding war that has already priced out Norwich City and Fulham.

Burnley are looking for £8million for the England Under-21 star.

Southampton are keen and Cardiff have already made a £5.5m bid for the striker. Newcastle are also hovering but the price has put off Norwich and Fulham.
