The 21-year old left-back, who can also operate as a winger, heads to England on Monday for a 12-day training stint with the Royals who are currently sitting on the bottom of England's top flight.
Goodwin, who joined the Jets from Melbourne Heart at the beginning of the season, was thrilled to be getting the chance to experience the life of a Premier League player for just under two weeks.
"I can't express enough how great an opportunity it is," Goodwin said in a statement from the Jets.
"You don't get these chances every day, so for myself to have this chance is something I'm very thankful for.
"I don't have any expectations heading over there really, I'm just open to a great experience, particularly for myself as a younger player, it will be a great to learn and experience the game over there."
