Newcastle United are confident Hatem Ben Arfa will be ready for their clash next Sunday with Tottenham.

The fit-again French midfielder pulled out of Toon's reserve game at Bolton Wanderers at the last minute because of a family illness.

He flew straight to Tunisia but is due back next week.
