Newcastle United hero Rob Lee has questioned their swoop for Marseille winger Florian Thauvin.

Toon legend Lee is worried the 22-year-old winger could go the same way as Remy Cabella.

The former England midfielder told the Daily Star: "From what I hear, he definitely has the pace to make it in the Premier League but can he handle the physical side?

"Remy Cabella certainly couldn't. He was a bit of a lightweight and just didn't get going. He will be no real loss.

"I hope Thauvin is a success but he's not proven in the Premier League and that is always a worry."
