Newcastle United fullback Davide Santon enjoys the style of play in England.

Santon signed for Newcastle last summer from Inter Milan.

He told Calciomercato.com: "The Italian league is more tactical, more physical than the English. And there are many more spaces to play. It is also why I am happy here across the Channel.

"Here the fans don't protest, even if you lose three or four games in a row. They continue to cheer for you, without whistling and complaining after the first difficulty."
