Newcastle United fullback Massadio Haidara is convinced the suspension for Luis Suarez gives them a big chance against Liverpool this weekend.

He knows the controversial Uruguayan's omission from the clash on Saturday night could make all the difference to Newcastle's bid for survival.

Haidara told the Evening Chronicle: "Suarez is the difference for Liverpool.

"I think, without him, they will be a different team.

"He is clearly the focal point for their attack. They do have other quality players as well, but if he is not playing that will definitely be a positive thing for us."
