Arsenal have tabled a contract offer to Newcastle United fullback Mathieu Debuchy.
The France international has declared in the past 24 hours he expects to move to Arsenal in the coming days.
The Daily Star Sunday says according to reports in France the Gunners have agreed a £7.9m deal with Newcastle.
The reports also claim that the right-back has been offered a three-year-deal by the Gunners which will see him earn £75,000 a week.
