According to Sky Sports, Newcastle United attacker Siem de Jong is set for a return back to Ajax Amsterdam.

De Jong has been plagued with persistent injury problems since his arrival to Newcastle from Ajax back in 2014 and the Dutchman now looks set to end his horror stay at St. James' Park.

Reports from England have gone on to claim that De Jong is on the verge of returning to the Netherlands by joining Ajax and the 28-year-old will now be looking to revive his career back in his homeland.
