Newcastle United are eyeing Hull City striker Abel Hernandez for the summer market.

The Daily Mail says Newcastle are among the clubs showing an interest in Hernandez.

The Uruguay international, 27, is a free agent this summer.

He has been injured for much of the season but has returned to fitness and scored five goals in seven games.

Hernandez joined Hull from Palermo in 2014 after spending five years with the Italian side in Serie A.
