Newcastle Jets are expected to welcome Korean import Song Jin-hyung for their Asian Champions League knockout match against Pohang Steelers on June 24.

The 21-year old midfielder has not featured for the Jets in their ACL campaign so far but is a likely inclusion for the match in his home country.

"It definitely looks like Song will travel with us," Jets coach Gary van Egmond said yesterday.

"How much game time he gets, we'll have to talk to the physios with regards to what he's capable of doing. But he's been looking good and hopefully he can play some role for us against Pohang."
