Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor wasn't surprised by Alan Pardew's mad celebrations during victory over Fulham.
The Toon boss has been the subject of much training-ground banter.
Taylor felt his manager's crowd-hugging celebration summed up what St James' Park is all about.
He added: "It was unbelievable seeing the manager jump in the crowd.
"He lost his keys after Papiss scored!
"Gary Neville touched on it on TV when he said that this is what the game is all about, seeing the passion and getting involved with the fans.
"Our fans loved it and we want to keep it like that.
"Managers running down the pitch is what it should be like. It was perfect."
