Newcastle cult hero LuaLua: Why I would puncture Sir Bobby's tyres

Former Newcastle United attacker Lomano LuaLua admits he would puncture Sir Bobby Robson's tyres after learning he wasn't selected.

While appearing on Sky Sports' Soccer AM on Saturday morning, LuaLua revealed he used to puncture the former England and Barcelona manager's tyres with a screwdriver in retaliation to being dropped.

"With Bobby, when he don't play me - I am from East London - I used to get a screwdriver and go and puncture his tyres," he said.

"I wanted to play but he caught me and he said to me 'what are you doing, son?'

"I didn't know what to do and I was like 'every time you don't play me I am going to keep doing this!'

"Fair play to him, though, he was like my grandfather. He took me in and tried to explain things to me."
