Newcastle United reserves coach Willie Donachie has told Nile Ranger to buck up his ideas if he wants a career at St James' Park.
Donachie fears the former England Under-19 star's career could be wasted if he doesn't face up to his responsibilities.
Donachie told the Evening Chronicle: "Nile is so privileged to be playing for Newcastle.
"He is gifted with a physique and speed that if you weren't born with it, you can't give to somebody.
"It can be very frustrating because some of the other lads who are leaving have a spot on attitude.
"Unfortunately they haven't got his gifts. If he gets a bit of their attitude, he could be a hell of a player.""Everybody in Newcastle would give their right arm to be doing what he's doing.
