Newcastle are threatening Manchester United plans for Napoli defender Kim Min-jae.
United have struck personal terms with Kim's camp and are willing to meet his €60m buyout clause, which comes into effect in the first two weeks of July.
However, the delays have opened the door to Newcastle, says Foot Mercato.
The Toon are ready to better the buyout clause in order to trump United for the South Korea international.
However they're not alone, with Chelsea also ready to compete for Kim.
