Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is chasing West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble.
The Daily Star says Pardew is weighing up a summer move for the influential Hammers midfielder.
Pardew is a long-term admirer of Noble, 27, who is contracted to West Ham until 2016 and rated at around £8m.
And after being told he will still be in charge at St James' Park next season Noble is back on his wish list.
