Newcastle chasing Man Utd winger Cleverley
Newcastle United are ready to move for Manchester United winger Tom Cleverley.
The Sunday Sun says as well as several glowing scouting reports, Newcastle boss Chris Hughton has also received a recommendation for Cleverley from his new international team-mate Andy Carroll.
However, Hughton faces a tough task to convince both Cleverley and Sir Alex Ferguson a permanent move away from Old Trafford is the Hampshire-born starlet’s best option.
So well settled at Watford he has agreed to extend his loan spell there for the rest of the season, Cleverley may prefer to stay put at Vicarage Road in January.
