Newcastle boss Pardew: We believe in our Academy graduates

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew says they're serious about bringing through more young players.

Pardew hopes to give more youngsters their chance tonight at Europa League opponents Maritimo.

"We have tremendous loyalty to our players who've come through the academy," said Pardew.

"We have one or two outside of those as well who we consider our own, like (Haris) Vuckic. We're desperate for him to do well too.

"They have loyalty to us too and it bodes well for the future.

"It sets a great example for our under-10s who are entering the academy for the first time that there is a route into the first team. It helps in recruiting players."
