Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is considering handing Rolando Aarons a start against Crystal Palace.
The teenager was the star of the show against Gillingham in the League Cup - despite playing just an hour at Priestfield.
Pardew feels that Aarons can be the crowd pleaser the United faithful crave.
Ahead of the meeting with Palace, Pardew said: "He typifies what the Newcastle crowd want to see, taking people on and making things happen, and there's a good chance he could play on Saturday the way he's played at Gillingham."
