Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is confident David Moyes has the resolve to work through the crisis at Manchester United.

Pardew had words of sympathy for his United counterpart after Saturday's win.

"You have your family and close aides around you, but the most important thing is having an inner belief and faith in what you do, that's what I always call upon," said Pardew. "David's got that and so he should after his record at Everton."
