Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear has told Charles N'Zogbia he is not for sale.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "Charles is a talented player and, as long as we can harness him and get him to do the job in the right areas, he has fantastic ability.

"I have made it clear this week his future remains with Newcastle United.

"In the position we are in at the moment, with 11 key players injured, he has a major role to play.

"Irrespective of what bids come in, I am not in a position to let anybody go.

"Had the other 11 players been available, I would have probably said I would listen to offers and work around that, but at the moment we are being crucified with injuries.

"As long as the window is open, I will not be selling anybody - unless I consider them to be fringe players."
