Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear's claims that he's not part of the 'Cockney mafia' aren't just words.

The Evening Chronicle says it is understood that there has been no communication between Kinnear or Dennis Wise, while the ex-Luton Town manager revealed last week he had never even met Tony Jimenez.
