Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan has heaped praise on Sunderland rival Roy Keane ahead of the Northeast derby.
"In this league, what he's achieved is similar to what I achieved when we finished third because of the differences teams now face.
"It's a different world now so you can't argue - he's done a great job.
"When we came up in the 90s you could make a charge but that's not possible any more.
"You'd be amazed if that happened now because of the differences and finances of the big clubs."
