Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton is ready to welcome back midfielder Joey Barton.
Barton is set to see action at Deportivo La Coruna tonight.
"Joey had a tough time on the sidelines last season," Hughton told the Evening Chronicle.
"But we feel he can be like a new signing this season and he's keen to play a big part for us."
