Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce is targeting four signings this month.

Bruce wants three more Newcastle signings as he put the finishing touches on a loan deal for Nabil Bentaleb from Schalke.

The Sun says Bruce hopes a deal to bring in Inter Milan winger Valentino Lazaro on loan will be completed in the next 24 hours.

He is on the lookout for a new left-back and would ideally also like a striker before the end of January.

Jetro Willems and Paul Dummett have both been ruled out for the season, leaving Matt Ritchie as the only recognised left wing-back.
