Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is being linked with a shock return to Chelsea.

Tuttosport says Benitez will return to Stamford Bridge as Maurizio Sarri's replacement. The Italian is due to be named Juventus coach this week.

Benitez won the Europa League while in caretaker charge, but never really appealed to the Blues support.

His Newcastle future remains in question, having not signed anything to continue.

And in Turin it's claimed the agreement between Chelsea and Benitez is “imminent".
