Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is aware of Juventus rumours of interest in Martin Dubravka.

Benitez, who has managed Napoli and Inter Milan during his career, knows the Italian football circuit well and is not surprised by the interest from Juve.

When asked if their advances had surprised him after just one year on Tyneside, Benitez told the Evening Chronicle: "No, because he's a good keeper and somebody you can trust.

"Obviously they (Juventus) can talk about him but any team could see him as a good keeper.

"The other day he made a mistake but we are talking about one year here and he's not made too many mistakes.

"He has given us a lot of points with his saves.

"Everybody can see Martin is a good goalkeeper."
