Newcastle United could land Birmingham City winger Sebastian Larsson today.
The Sunday Sun says the Swedish winger had originally indicated he was ready to stay at Birmingham, but is outraged at his shoddy treatment by the Blues and is now ready to talk to Newcastle, who rate him at around £1m.
A loan deal for Aston Villa midfielder Stephen Ireland will be confirmed today.
Ireland has already undergone a Toon medical.
