Newcastle United have enquired about the availability of Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby.
The French winger has been linked to Arsenal recently, given that Mykhaylo Mudryk ended up at Chelsea.
Per the Daily Mail, Newcastle are serious about Diaby, as manager Eddie Howe wants more attacking options.
The winger has managed six goals and three assists in 15 games for Leverkusen.
The issue for Newcastle is that Bayer are very unlikely to want to sell during the season.
Given the club has no serious financial problems, they can put an exorbitant price on Diaby to ward off suitors.
