Newcastle United are set to appoint Graeme Carrick, the younger brother of former England star Michael, as their Under-18s coach.
Graeme is the brother of former Tottenham and Manchester United midfielder Michael, who won numerous trophies during a glittering career.
The 37-year-old Graeme has worked with the Football Association for the past 15 years.
He has an excellent reputation for his work as a youth coach developer.
Now he is set to work as a coach for Newcastle, as the club continues to restructure its operations after the takeover from a Saudi Arabia-backed consortium last year.
Carrick is said to have a good relationship with Newcastle's sporting director Dan Ashworth.
