Remie Streete and Adam Campbell are among Newcastle United players released.

United confirmed late on Friday that they would not be handing a new contract to either Jonas Gutierrez, Ryan Taylor, Jak Alnwick, Streete or Campbell.

Gutierrez was the biggest of the names to depart and he took a swipe at Mike Ashley on social media - before thanking supporters.

Gutierrez could yet stay in the Premier League, and several clubs are interested in the winger.
