Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has hinted he's interested in Al-Hilal midfielder Ruben Neves.

Neves is being linked with a loan move to Newcastle as cover for Sandro Tonali after his betting ban.

Howe said today: "I'm open to signing anyone if they are good enough and make our team better."

Asked about moves from the Premier League to ban clubs like Newcastle from signing players on-loan from within their ownership network, Howe also stated: "I wouldn't know the motives behind the changes. We just have to react to the rules as they come in."
