Celtic boss Tony Mowbray believes New Zealand striker Chris Killen can become a quality player at the highest level.
After scoring a double against A-League club Brisbane Roar in a pre-season tour match on Sunday, Killen has gone a long way to restoring some confidence after a tough run with injuries in recent times.
"I know Chris can score goals. He's physically very, very strong and a team player," Mowbray said.
"If he carries on in the same vein as he did in Brisbane, will he have a future? Yes. Everyone has got an opportunity.
"The strikers are judged by the goals they score and their general team play.
"I think Chris is good at all of those things.
"He knows he's got a fight on his hands to get minutes on the pitch to be able to do the damage.
"He's a good lad and a good professional.
"The best teams have competition for places, and Chris will intensify that competition for our club."
