New York Red Bulls midfielder Dwayne De Rosario rates Canada's chances ahead of tomorrow's clash with USA.
The world's 75th-ranked team meet the tournament co-favourites in Detroit in their CONCACAF Gold Cup opener and De Rosario feels the Canadians have a strong enough squad to be competitive against the US.
"We have a good caliber of players," De Rosario said.
"We have depth on the bench now. We have a solid squad. We know our first round is very difficult.
"Hopefully we start off well and do well against the United States to build our confidence."
