New York Red Bulls are set to snap up Maryland junior midfielder Matt Kassel.

His coach, Sasho Cirovski, has confirmed Kassel's decision, with New York already having his MLS rights.

"He's planning to sign unless there's a last-minute snag," Cirovski told the Washington Post. "With Matt, I'm happy we had him for three years. He was a great player for us.

"After every year, there was a possibility he was going to leave. This is the right time."
