New Wolfsburg coach Steve McClaren says his first target is to learn German.
The former Middlesbrough and FC Twente coach has agreed to take over at the helm of the 2009 Bundesliga champions from July 1 and he has promised to do all he can to take them back to the top of the table.
"Of course I will try to learn German," said the 49-year-old. "In addition, I would like to enjoy the German culture outside of football.
"I am really looking forward to gaining experience in Germany and I would like to take in all of the history, tradition and culture of German football."
