Joleon Lescott, Craig Gardner and Chris Baird all made their West Bromwich Albion debuts in the 2-0 friendly win over Bury.
Graham Dorrans and Saido Berahino were on target in the behind-closed-doors friendly which marked Alan Irvine's first match in charge of the Baggies.
After a goalless first half at the club's Great Barr training ground, Irvine made 10 changes during the break.
Dorrans opened the scoring on 54 minutes after a driving run through the middle of the park and 20-yard strike into the top corner.
Berahino doubled the lead 13 minutes from time after racing onto a through ball and applying a cool finish.
