Luka Modric could be on massive money at Tottenham if he can agree new terms.
The Daily Mail says Modric was offered £150,000 a week plus bonuses by Chelsea during the summer - and while it was not the only reason he wanted to leave Spurs, it was an incentive.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy held Modric to the six-year contract he signed last year but with the understanding that his terms would be improved once the transfer window closed.
Negotiations have some way to go, but Levy has offered a basic £95,000 a week with a bonus system that could take him towards £130,000 a week.
