Newcastle defender Jamal Lewis has suffered a new injury setback.

The Northern Ireland international collected a knee train before joining training under national team coach Michael O'Neill.

Lewis was due to link up with Michael O'Neill and his Northern Ireland team-mates this week as they prepare to take on Denmark and Kazakhsta

O'Neill confirmed: "Unfortunately Jamal aggravated a knee injury earlier this week so is not with us."
