New scan planned for Palace keeper Henderson

A new injury scan is scheduled for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

The former Manchester United keeper signed for Palace in August, but was forced off on debut in their Carabao Cup defeat last week at Old Trafford.

Henderson suffered a thigh injury and he set for a further scan today to learn the extend of the problem.

Palace manager Roy Hodgson has stated: “The initial scan wasn't very positive.

"Maybe we'll be lucky [with his follow-up scan] in that it will show somewhat less damage than the first one, but it didn't look like good news."
