Hibernian boss Mixu Paatelainen has confirmed he will sign a new stopper before the end of the year.

Khalid Sinouh arrived at Easter Road on trial this week and is free to sign after being released by Turkish outfit Kasimpasa.

Paatelainen refused to confirm whether the 33-year-old Dutch-born Morocco international had done enough to earn a contract, but said: "We will definitely bring someone in by January at the latest."
