Rene Meulensteen insists he's taken the Fulham job with Martin Jol's backing.

He insisted he wasn't plotting to replace Jol from the moment he arrived as head coach last month and claimed there is no bad blood between them.

Meulensteen said: "There are no hard feelings or bad feelings or ill feelings between him and myself."
