New Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel says he is pleased with the "atmosphere" around the squad he has inherited from Frank Lampard, reports BBC Sport.

He also says midfielder Mason Mount, who made is debut under Lampard, is a "nice guy with a positive aura".

"If you work with Mason, you can be sure he gives 100% in every minute," said Tuchel.

"This is the best situation to grow and he has everything that is needed to reach higher levels. I do not know his limits but we will push and support him.

"The most important thing is that it comes from inside of him. What makes me happy is that he is a nice guy with a positive aura in the dressing room and on the pitch. It is a pleasure to work with him ad the whole team.

"I'm delighted to see how we train and how we behave. To see the quality we have in all positions, with two or three guys who can play at a high level. I'm pleased with the behaviour and the atmosphere."
