Everton captain Phil Neville has implored the club to bounce back from yesterday's FA Cup semi-final loss to Liverpool as swiftly as possible.
The Toffees relinquished a one-goal lead to go down 2-1 to their Merseyside rivals at Wembley and although Neville admits it was somewhat of a tragedy, he says there can now be focus on gaining as many Premier League points as possible in their remaining five matches.
"Back in October, when everyone thought the club was on its knees, we've bounced back from that disappointment.
"We're in seventh position now and the sign of a good team, a great team, is when they bounce back with victories.
"This is when we need to show our mettle and we're going to do that next week at Old Trafford (against league leaders Manchester United).""We've somehow got to bounce back from this," he said.
