Everton captain Phil Neville says they can crack the top four this season.
"Our challenge is to keep up in fourth place and do well in the Uefa Cup," Neville told evertonTV.
Indeed, the next chapter begins with the hosting of Tottenham on Wednesday.
Neville is sure any disappointment at the semi-final defeat will be erased by the time that game comes around.
"We can't wallow in defeat for too long because next week we have Tottenham and Blackburn which are two massive games for this football club," he explained.
"And if we come out of those games with six points we are going to be right up there in fourth place and that is the aim.
"It is what successful teams do - get over defeats and move onto the next challenge."
