Neto is set to start for Barcelona in the Supercopa tournament in Saudi Arabia.

The Spanish Super Cup will be played between January 8 and 12.

A knee injury to Marc-Andre ter Stegen will see Brazilian goalkeeper Neto, a summer signing from Valencia, come into the team having only previously played competitively for Barça once: against Inter Milan in the Champions League.

Coach Ernesto Valverde will turn to Neto for the Catalan derby rather than risk Ter Stegen's knee. It's likely he will also play the Super Cup semifinal against Atletico Madrid (Jan. 9).

Ter Stegen's problem is not serious but the coaching staff don't want to take risks. It's planned that he will travel to Saudi Arabia but Neto is likely start.
